Maintenance is not covered under manufacturer warranties, but it is highly recommended by every manufacturer. Warranties cover parts only, not system upkeep. Skipping maintenance can cause softeners, iron filters, sulfur filters, and aeration tanks to clog or fail, leading to water leaks, poor performance, and strain on other components.

Aeration & Softener Systems

• Drain and clean the aeration tank

• Check the pressure tanks (fill to proper specifications)

• Inspect pressure switches

• Inspect float switches

• Clean softener screens and injectors

• Check programming and reset softener timer if needed

• Inspect solenoid valve

• Refill salt tank

• Replace bio-stick when due

• Inspect for leaks on equipment pad

Sulfur & Iron & Softener Systems (Two/Three Filter Systems)

• Check programming on each unit and reset timers if needed

• Clean softener, iron and sulfur filter screen and injectors

• Check the pressure tank (fill to proper specifications)

• Inspect pressure switch

• Inspect PC boards

• Refill salt tank and add all other chemicals that need to be added. (Potassium, Chlorine, etc.)

• Check for smell on outside spicket

• Inspect for leaks on equipment pad

• Change/clean all sediment filters.

• Check water usage

Whole House Reverse Osmosis

• Check the pressure tank

• Test TDS levels for water purity

• Check float and solenoid operation

• Replace sediment filters as needed

• Inspect switches and components

• Perform any required repairs

• Flush the membrane
